Walkin' the Dog is a big day for Gigi's, and we need a great team of volunteers to help make it happen. Whether you can help behind the scenes, spread the word in the weeks leading up to the event, or spend a few hours with us at Columbus Commons on October 24, there's a place for you. Choose a shift or shifts that work for you, bring your love of dogs, and help us create a great day for our community while supporting shelter dogs across Ohio.

An event this size runs on volunteers. If you want to give back for a few hours on a Saturday and be around a lot of dogs, there's a spot for you. This list updates as new shifts open.
Registration and check-in
Greet walkers, hand out shirts, and get people moving.
Route marshals
Keep the walk route clear and point people the right way.
Kids Zone
Help run activities for our littlest dog people.
Market support
Help vendors and rescues load in, set up, and pack out.
Hydration stations
Keep water flowing for dogs and people alike.
Setup and teardown
Early birds and closers who make the day possible.

Can't make the 24th?
If your Saturday is spoken for, there are still two ways to be part of it. Start a Facebook fundraiser and ask your people to chip in, or give directly. Both fund the same care for shelter dogs across Ohio.
